Some scary lies

About being alive

Some dead walking

In the guise of life

Truth is

I was mistaken

When I thought that

It was enough

To sometimes dwell in hatred

Sometimes overdose on love

But there was more to truth

A contraption of lies

To Fool -

The eyes that shut tight

In made rage of a drunken orgy

Of little lies

That assuage

The guilt of being party

To the massacre of honest lies

The only kind

That can swirl up into the nostrils

And taste like the breath of life

Being alive

True lies

Who says we exist?

Maybe we don’t

Maybe we’re just dreaming

Half awake

In state between nowhere

And every where -

In a place between grace

And overriding despise

Maybe there is yet no price

To be paid

For crucifying

Sons and lovers

Maybe it’s a guise

Of make believes truths

To sustain a cardinal lie

Maybe we’re all dead

In ways

In which we couldn’t stay alive

Maybe death is the bringer of life

Maybe

All there is

Are some honest lies
