If it gets any worse, I’ll say a prayer
Who cares if I feel so down today?
My two feet tall faith will get me by
It will know all the right things to say
Being me isn’t easy
I pay some price, every now and then;
But I guess I’ll not have it any other way
Not as long,
As my two feet tall faith remembers all the right things to say
Wrongs and rights, all blurred for me
Into a thin red line of deep cynical mystery
Now I am living the dictates of my mind;
Stealing some peace, now,
Getting by sometimes just breathing, and telling me
Anyhow,
It’s just another day
Two feet tall faith please know what to say
Stop, breathe
Fight but never leave
This is your life
The only place in the world you call home;
Sometimes your way
Sometimes their way
Anyway
Everything’s ok
Just so long the two feet tall faith knows what to stay
There is grace as long as the faith will say

Sups,
A thinking poem, more than a feeling poem. That is how I see it. Is that right from your angle? Made a very good read.
Is the two feet tall faith religious? Or is it faith in one self, or in destiny or whatever? Do you imply that a teeny weeny religious conviction will be enough to take care of us?
I know it is unfair to ask a poet to elaborate. He would then have done the elaboration and left out the poem!

Grace or grapes on tap? According to the New Testament, Jesus was a traveling bartender who served the drinks at weddings and bar mitzvas all over Israel. On request, He would also distribute unlimited fish sandwiches to all the guests. He became so successful at this that He eventually employed twelve assistants.

To Ms. Supriya,
Being me isn’t easy
I pay some price, every now and then;
Yes, we can be comfotable with any one in the world, but to be comfortable with ourselves is difficult. There we can not hide anything, as we know ourselves. That's why many people are afraid of sitting in meditation, too.
